Violence in Video Games:Good or Bad?

Issues about violence in video games have surfaced for almost a decade ago. We read and saw in the news about a lot of criminal cases that linked to violence video games, whether in Malaysia or international level. For the past decade, video games seems to be synonymous with children and teenagers. Games like WWE Smackdown!, FIFA 08 and Gangs of War have replaced the pasttime of yesteryear children of playing outside, under the hot sun. However, besides good, clean fun video games that are available in the market today, video games publishers such as Naughty Dogs, Konami, Atari and Jakks among others also published video games that indirectly promotes violence such as the Grand Theft Auto series, Dead or Alive series and many more. This indirectly motivated the children and teenagers to mock the protaganists in the video games. Now, the main question still stands. Is violence in video games a good thing or a bad thing? For me, it is a good thing. Violence is used in the video games to tell the gamers that life is hard and unpredictable. It also teaches them to be well prepared to face the cruel world. The violence shown in the video games is much lesser than the violence in the real world. So, the protest against violence in video games should be stopped. These gamers need to experience what is happening to the world today and if everyone is taking that experience away from them is like robbing their freedom. So, I strongly suggest that violence in video games should stay for the betterment of mankind around the world so that they understand and appreciate life better

Is blogging's for everyone?

When we talk about blogging we are thinking of people spent hundreds of hours on the Internet, posting their thoughts, ideas and feelings regarding the topics that are discussed. These people seems to have all the time in the world to post his or her comments on the Internet. The main question that surface here is blogging's for everyone? What about people who are working from 7am until 5pm?Do they have time to blog? What if some peole just like to keep their thoughts and views to themselves?Personally, at first, I believed that blogging is just awaste of time. Just think about it. You spend at least 2 hours of your life sitting in front of the computer writing what you think on the Internet while you can spend the same 2 hours in the cinema or playing sports. Then, my perspective changed. Blogging does not waste time. It just a medium of expressing yourself for the world to see. You don't have to feel fear for what you've written because you are in power. So, back to the main question. Is blogging's for everyone? For me,yes. Blogging is maybe the first step to create aspiring writers. We don't know that the next Stephen King would be bloggers, but if it is, then it's a first. Blogging is good because you write what you think and feel. Those who always experience stress is the people who always keep their thoughts and ideas to themselves and that's not a good thing. Anyway, I strongly suggest that everyone should blog and get out their ideas and thoughts.
